Book Review: Conversations with God: The Making of the Movie
Published: Wednesday, March 05, 2008

This book includes many beautiful pictures from the film location in Oregon. Novelist and screenwriter Monty Joynes and Neale Donald Walsh (whose life is portrayed in this film) provide behind-the-scene stories and other insights. There are numerous interviews and comments from the movie director and the cast and crew.
The movie is an excellent introduction to the works of Neale Donald Walsh for those who haven’t had a chance to read his books. People who are familiar with his writings will also be surprised to learn of the reality Neale went through. He was a jobless, homeless person who had difficulty keeping it together most of his life, but turned it around 180 degrees. Horrible experiences led him to connect deeply with his inner source. Conversations with the voice within ended up in a three -book series titled “Conversations with God.”
These books are now translated into 36 languages and have sold over 7 million copies. All things happen for a reason. Everything happens as it is meant to happen. This is also true for Neale’s life and how this movie was made. His life has changed dramatically, and Neale’s books and movie are now changing the lives of millions of people all around world.
