PARK CITY, UT—In a move that has elicited no comment from the parties involved, Gary Hume in September resigned as president and CEO of Murdock Madaus Schwabe, parent company of Nature’s Way and Natural Life, to become executive VP of Nutraceutical International Corp. (NUTR), based here, and president of its distribution operation, NutraForce.

Rory Mahony, former executive VP of Murdock Madaus Schwabe, has been named acting GM to run the company after Hume’s departure. Mahony also is chairman of the American Herbal Products Association.
