Seven industry companies made Inc. magazine’s list of the top-500 fastest-growing private companies in America, released on Oct. 14. On the list are mail-order company Gaiam of Broomfield, CO, 10; Balance Bar (BBAR), 14; Jamba Juice of San Francisco, 39; Horizon Organic Dairy (HCOW), 66; Nantucket Allserve of Cambridge, MA, 71; Clif Bar of Berkeley, CA, 152; and You Are What You Eat of Los Angeles, CA, 441. HCOW and BBAR went public earlier this year.
