The Novartis Nutrition Corp. unit of Novartis AG has reformulated sales literature for Resource Renal Creme Beverage after a warning from the FDA in September. Novartis changed language from a “dietary supplement for renal dialysis patients” which is intended to “treat/mitigate renal disease,” to “Dietary Supplement—Electrolyte-controlled for renal dialysis diets,” reported The Wall Street Journal.
