Kraft Foods Inc.'s (NYSE: KFT) Rolf Sauerbier, director of coffee sustainability projects, has been honored by the Republic of Peru for his work to improve the competitiveness of Peruvian coffee in world markets. In addition to helping extend the export range of Peruvian coffee and improve quality standards, Kraft says it has been working to improve social and environmental conditions in various coffee-producing countries since the early 1990s, according to a Dec. 11 article at CSRwire.com.
