Herb and supplements seller says restructuring is behind loss.

Nature's Sunshine Products Inc. (Nasdaq: NATR) saw a 3Q03 net loss of $600,000 or $.04/diluted share vs. 3Q02 net income of $3.5 million or $.21/diluted share. Net sales for the recent quarter were $73.1 million vs. $73.8 million a year ago. The company attributes the net loss to restructuring expenses of $2.2 million spent on eliminating and consolidating some management and employee positions and realigning programs and market strategies.
