Charles lives in Antigua, West Indies and worked on many commercials & local film productions, and also with the Marine Department on location for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. Charles also met Louie Psihoyos in Antigua, and for more than 10 years he has worked with Louie on many photography assignments. Now with OPS, he served as producer on “The Cove,” an Academy Award-winning documentary. In rare spare time he races his wooden sloop “Summer Cloud” throughout the Caribbean.

Dr. Greene is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine, an Attending Physician at Packard Children’s Hospital, and on the board of directors of Healthy Child Healthy World, the Organic Center, and Society for Participatory Medicine. He is the author of many popular health and parenting books including Raising Baby Green and Feeding Baby Green. Dr.

Brent Green is a marketing communication strategist, creative director, copywriter, author, speaker, and trainer with focus on generational marketing. Long interested in health, wellness and the underpinnings of a satisfying, purpose-centered life, Pilar came to the world of publishing somewhat indirectly. Raised by a sociologist father and a back-to-the-land mother, she grew up between liberal-arts-college campuses and a Midwestern organic farm. Pilar has an abiding passion for broad and constant learning.

Since joining Healthy Child Healthy World, Gavigan has innovated new strategic philanthropy and cause-marketing programs, most recently on the collaborative effort with WebMD’s Health eHome.

Margie provides vision and inspiration to the foundation’s work in renewable energy development, watershed restoration, energy education and carbon offsets. Under Margie’s leadership, BEF has doubled its staff and expanded its programs since January 2008.

Lisa Gabor was most recently Editor-in-Chief of Black Ink, the American Express quarterly for Black Card members. Prior to that, Gabor was the Editor of InStyle.com, where she translated the magazine’s success in print to the online medium. In addition, she was the founding Editor-in-Chief of Fuse Magazine and the founding Style Editor of In Style, one of the most successful magazines launches in publishing history. Gabor is applying an editorial point-of-view to Island Outpost properties and projects.

Steve has over 20 years of marketing and sales management experience with Marriott, PepsiCo, and Mars. His specific experience includes development and direction across a wide variety of consumer brands. Steve’s expertise includes general management, product development, brand management, acquisitions, new ventures, food service marketing, and market research management. Steve has also published numerous reports and articles and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Paula DuPre’ Pesmen was an Associate Producer on many films including the first three Harry Potter films, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Rent. In 2005, Paula founded the Colorado based non-profit There With Care and also began working with friend and director, Louie Psihoyos, as a Producer on the 2010 Academy Award winning documentary film The Cove.

Dr. Larry Dossey is a former physician of internal medicine and former Chief of Staff of Medical City Dallas Hospital. He received his M. D. degree from Southwestern Medical School (Dallas), and trained in internal medicine at Parkland and the VA hospitals in Dallas. Dossey has lectured at medical schools and hospitals throughout the United States and abroad. In 1988 he delivered the annual Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Lecture in New Delhi, India, the only physician ever invited to do so.
