Cory Welch

Cory Welch is an Associate Director with Navigant Consulting who has 11 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors on clean-energy technology issues in addition to his 5 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy.  His experience ranges from managing the development of hydrogen fuel-cell engines for automobiles while at UTC Power, to analyzing advanced vehicles and leading the development of an integrated energy-economy model while at NREL, to his current role at Navigant Consulting, where he works primarily with electric and gas utilities and utility regulatory agencies on all aspects of energy-efficiency programs. Mr. Welch holds an SM in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
