Christopher Gavigan is CEO / Executive Director of the non-profit organization Healthy Child Healthy World.  For more almost 15 years, Gavigan has dedicated himself to improving the health and future of children and families.  He holds degrees in environmental science and geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has extensive graduate training in Child Psychology and Education.  Gavigan has worked as an Ecological Science teacher in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area, and as a Children and Family Specialist.  He is also the founder of Pinnacle Expeditions, an outdoor leadership program for teenagers.

Since joining Healthy Child Healthy World, Gavigan has innovated new strategic philanthropy and cause-marketing programs, most recently on the collaborative effort with WebMD’s Health eHome.  He also has successful created multiple national public awareness campaigns and educational programs educating millions about the “next generation of parenting” and non-toxic lifestyle choice that impact children’s health and our planet’s future.  As the recent author of the best-selling book: Healthy Child Healthy World – Creating a Cleaner, Greener, Safer Home, Gavigan exemplifies the new brand of young humanitarians and environmental leaders.
