On the heels of recent electric car news from Chevy and Nissan, Honda has just announced they plan to produce an all-electric car of their own, albeit not until 2015. The prototype will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. We wonder about the delay, since the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf will appear for the 2011 model year, Toyota plans an electric car for 2012, and other manufacturers are talking about producing electric cars well ahead of 2015. Hybrid and electric car owners in Los Angeles were treated to a free eco-friendly car wash this past Tuesday from bikini models teaching the drivers how to save the environment. It was promo for a new Web site, Angry Green Girl ... In addition to Europe being serious about boosting hybrid sales, Korea is also looking at offering incentives of up to $1,600 (2 million won) next year as part of the nation's "green growth" initiative.
