Family Farms, based here, on Oct. 4 filed a voluntary petition for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Fresno, Calif., U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of California. No details for the
filing are available.
Under Chapter 11, creditors vote to accept or reject a reorganization plan, which must also be approved by the court. The first meeting of creditors is schedule for Nov. 13.
According to Natural
Products Insider, Pavich has retained Fresno attorney John Eleazarian to represent the
company in the case.
