Nu Skin Enterprises Pulls Pharmanex Products From 30,000 Locations
Dietary supplements manufacturer Pharmanex Inc. said it will withdraw its 38 natural health care products from some 30,000 mass-market retail locations by Jan. 15. Pharmanex will offer its products to consumers exclusively through the distributor sales network of its parent company, Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NUS). Pharmanex products will continue to be available through several thousand independent pharmacies and natural health food stores nationwide, as independent proprietors will be offered the opportunity to distribute Pharmanex products in ways consistent with Nu Skin’s direct-distribution policies. Nu Skin completed the acquisition of privately held Generation Health Holdings Inc., parent of Pharmanex Inc., in October.
