Novartis AG (NYSE: NVS) has bought Mississauga, Ontario-based
W.K. Buckley Ltd., maker of Buckley's Mixture, an herbal-based cough syrup. Frank Buckley, the founder's son, will become a consultant for Novartis, and a company owned by the Buckley family will continue to make the cough medicine under contract from Novartis, according to a Nov. 15
