Vitamin distributor Bentley CapitalCorp.com Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary VWO I Inc. has merged with Alameda, Calif.-based Proton Laboratories, a marketer of residential and commercial functional water systems. Proton owner Edward Alexander exchanged 100 percent of the outstanding units of the company for 1.75 million shares of Bentley common stock.
Alexander is president of the new entity, Proton Laboratories Inc., according to a Nov. 26 announcement. According to the announcement, Bentley believes that “vitamins and functional water are complementary products that may be marketed or used in conjunction with one another at some point in the future.”
