Nutraceutical International's Quarterly Net Income Up

Maker of Nature's Life brand supplements sees positive 4Q03.

Nutraceutical International Corp. (Nasdaq: NUTR) reports 4Q03 net income of $3.3 million or $.29/diluted per share vs. 4Q02 net income of $2.8 million or $.25/diluted share. In 2002, the quarterly results included earnings of $.02/diluted share for payments received as a partial settlement for price-fixing litigation in which the company was a plaintiff, according to a Nov. 24 NUTR announcement.

Recently, Forbes Magazine named NUTR one of the 200 best small American companies for 2003.
