Beginning this month, The Hain Celestial Group (Nasdaq: HAIN) will be shipping a new version of its Rice Dream beverage that will contain phytosterols made and branded by Cargill Health & Food Technologies. The addition of CoroWise brand phytosterols to the dairy-free Rice Dream drink has made it healthier for the cardiovascular systems of those who consume it, according to a Dec. 8 Hain announcement.
The new product will be the first rice beverage to carry the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approved heart health claim for phytosterols on its label, according to the announcement.
