In celebration of America Recycles Day, Staples is asking consumers to recycle their used cell phones, PDAs, pagers, rechargeable batteries and ink and toner cartridges at any of its 1,100 U.S. stores.
Staples is a national sponsor of America Recycles Day, a national non-profit organization that renews public support every November 15 for recycling and buying recycled products by working with businesses, local, state and federal government and non-profit organizations. Staples makes it easy to recycle and buy recycled products every day.
"As part of our company-wide commitment to protect natural resources, Staples is proud to support America Recycles Day," said Mark Buckley, vice president of environmental affairs at Staples. "We're pleased to help our customers 'close the loop' by recycling their used products and offering them 2,800 products with recycled content whenever they shop at Staples."
